Taking a sabbatical from the internet for a month, so I won’t be on here for a while.
Those of you I talk to regularly, feel free to keep contacting me - I’m not cutting out email.
See y’all in a month! =)
I used to get annoyed when my dad pretended not to remember my age.
Now I need a few moments to remember how old I am.
Isn’t it too early for that yet?
When the going gets tough...
I remember that I have a sword and put on some red lipstick.
This day doesn’t stand a chance. ;)
A person needs a little madness, or else they never dare cut the rope and be...

Every story is a love story; and each has its...
Which is yours?
Only in a writer's head
Me: Why can't I write like that? (referring to a particularly poignant story)
Alter ego: Because you didn't experience such horrible things as he writes about in first person"
Me: I need to get into some sort of trouble
Alter ego: Yes, research is important.
Me: Perhaps I should seduce a married man.
Alter ego: Make sure he disappears very soon though, we wouldn't want this to be a love story.

Alter ego: Or how about seducing his wife?
Me: Yes! To get his money... She will then go mad and try to kill everyone and do something strange to the corpses! Do you think I should make them come alive?
Alter ego: No, too cliché. We should make sure this happens in the mountains... so we explore how endless cold and nature can drive you mad as you try to get back to civilization...
Me: But even if I do this, it doesn't really come out to anything truly, amazingly horrible....
Alter ego: You need to find your self bigger problems. Research is key.

You want a physicist to speak at your funeral. You want the physicist to talk to your grieving family about the conservation of energy, so they will understand that your energy has not died. You want the physicist to remind your sobbing mother about the first law of thermodynamics; that no energy gets created in the universe, and none is destroyed. You want your mother to know that...

How to live - someone asked me this in a letter, someone I had wanted to ask that very thing. Again and as always, and as seen above there are no questions more urgent than the naive ones.
—Wisława Szymborska from “The Turn of the Century,” translated by Joanna Maria Trzeciak.

My Loving Muse
I cannot even pour the wine for my hands shake so tonight with exhaustion from the lusts I slaked. Perhaps the wine with tangy sweetness would drive away my cruel mistress - the Muse with lips sewn very tight. What I would give to see her anger, it promises to be so tender: warm enough to set the world aflame. It would burn, and us as well, scorching this luxurious cell. Lets find out if...
